A bird singing a sweeter song than this
When in love you sang these tunes I miss
For all time, I would have cried
Perhaps never to recall who I was
Who I wanted to see
Who I am
This is my place
An unending peaceful grace
Do you know who you are
I know, I am you, at times too much
Too many verses placing upon me such curses
An infinite possibility
Why we had been what was seen again
Already done, was this not more than one
I know I will hold you for all time
There will be order and reason to this rhyme
I do not need to find my name, as yours is upon my tongue
I have finally discovered this place, this face, with names I am graced
Are we the waiting, perhaps
Have we found ourselves, discovered a meaning
There is only one hope for one without salvation
Yours, a name once shrouded, clouded
Softly spoken, falsehood, accepted, understood
You were once my savior, now because of you, one greater

All the character and function of a tune, beneath the moon
Twilight singing in the streets, no more seats, midnight to noon

Dance the most you can and take my hand, no more demands
I understand there is no will to fold and be that man
A smile on every face I see, that will is me
I will not break this vow to thee, my mother, she
Could always count on one thing only from her son, only one
Attempt to lift their spirits, every one, when hope is done

A dark, devouring statement

In fairness I couldn't imagine this then
For the first time in years it feels right

You can fear me or hate me, whichever you choose
But this day is my beckoning call
For all those among you, unseen in recluse
To be there with me, soul and all

The devils, the dark ones, the demons and gods
All knowing the rights we should hold
I've finally found my own hand against odds
Reaching deep into blackness so bold

My eyes lit aflame as I stare through the void
Making way with each meaningful step
Your tragedy spoken unknown and destroyed
I've found now, what should have been kept

Unholy mortals walking this Earth

unfortunately when it happens you feel
As though pain is a virtue that will never heal
Knowing all the things our teachers make known
Learning through passage of time with seeds sown
Why love is too kind to be there in hand
This time is important, and it's worth a demand
Not yet a moment to wish for what sings
The singular passing and flourished things
Rushed by or glanced at cannot be a gift
For delicate permanence, there I must shift
Not one to break an unquestioned heart
Never to be one to tear them apart
I love them all dearly and won't yet be able
To lift up my weapon from off this round table
As there is a curse both within and without
Known only to those who've heard all that I shout
Again, here I live for the passing of days
Excitement and joy to split so many ways
When all that we need is just one single goal
Instead our minds shift till they consume our soul
I don't mind the pain and there's less with each year
But that doesn't dismiss this illogical fear
It can be overcome as it has been before
With many as one I can walk through that door
Because as with all things we can make it as one
But now I must leave to return to the sun
Take this and wonder what's meant to be seen
Decide for yourself what is meant to be gleaned
As I'm now still more somber than I have ever been
Make use of this time to portray what you mean

I don't really understand how,
Sarcasm, statements, the color red,
Please Jesus I wear it on my head,

Shouldn't it mean stop, can't you see colors,
Or are you just prying and breaking all the others,
I like to be solo, alone and with no one,
I prefer to avoid them they're bright as the sun,

I say alone, I mean alone, no one not even a moment,
You should listen once in awhile before you go hellbent,
I'm not a very average person in the least,
I wouldn't ask for anything and I just want to be released
