My abilities only within the words I spread upon the pages of memory
Setting hearts and minds wandering through the distances and seas
This again, not as fluent as a thought, the candle put out
Always was as it will be, I am not in the mind to wait and wonder
My compasion in this fashion set aside to see the storm goes under
Your mind, not mine, it's known now as I lose myself to your words
I believe in you so much this time to chronicle what's heard
Inside forever now from this undoubted shouting fit
Once bitten then removed from mouths so willing to commit
I'll be this man, forever there to lend a helping hand
Though it may not be always in my power to command
Your hearts forever open as I care to be your guide
No more shall this portrayal of a man be what I hide

A bird singing a sweeter song than this
When in love you sang these tunes I miss
For all time, I would have cried
Perhaps never to recall who I was
Who I wanted to see
Who I am
This is my place
An unending peaceful grace
Do you know who you are
I know, I am you, at times too much
Too many verses placing upon me such curses
An infinite possibility
Why we had been what was seen again
Already done, was this not more than one
I know I will hold you for all time
There will be order and reason to this rhyme
I do not need to find my name, as yours is upon my tongue
I have finally discovered this place, this face, with names I am graced
Are we the waiting, perhaps
Have we found ourselves, discovered a meaning
There is only one hope for one without salvation
Yours, a name once shrouded, clouded
Softly spoken, falsehood, accepted, understood
You were once my savior, now because of you, one greater

Hope defines us, faith reminds us
Nothing more powerful than the will of God
Strength at hand, no demands but to stand in awe
Love overwhelming, powerless to end
Forgiveness and grace beyond measure
With a word, waving the impossible
Everlasting life, always within our grasp
This is our task, what He asks
Kindness over carelessness
Compassion for the grieving
A piece of us, our souls, inspire believing
Trust in the word, faith brought to life
Guiding through heartache, sadness and strife
Mistakes are made, dust your boots
For with each moment, we define our roots
Embrace each day, given dutifully by God
As quiors of angels do watch down upon
Protecting us from harm, with the power to learn
Stand tall, holding fast to each friend we earn

Cure this dream and fix the issue
No more lies and no more tissues
Permanence in life and longing
No, I won't be here belonging
I will reach for friends on hills
The place where clouds of dust stand still
Keeping faith and hope alive
For all their influence arrives
Inside this passion, full of grace
I'm soon to leave this dreadful place
Work to take a leap towards freedom
Though my feet are bruised and bleeding
We will challenge what has been
For all the things they've never seen
Nothing missing for it's there
