Been a while since I've been round here
Feeling better now I'm found here
Looking up the skies are bright
With sun in sky and stars at night

Trees that whisper winds that pass
Branches bare and covered grass
Snow that crunches 'neath my feet
This yearly cycle on repeat

How could any find this daunting
Many winter's ghosts not haunting
Only there to show us wonder
The chilled embrace of white from under

Defined time to see within rhyme,
I'll never know why but I know her crimes,
Setting something upon my shoulders,
Walking away and waiting until I'm older,
Is it true or did you really make these accusations,
To call off some friendships to step from their stations,
I honestly never knew whether you hate me,
Could you have done this all merely to bait me,
You're nothing to me but an aching ghost,
Haunting and ruining dreams of the coast,
I no longer wish for protection from you,
I know there's dysfuntion and you've come unglued,
I've found so much more in these dark city nights,
Than a touch or a feeling could bring from the light,
There's beauty in glows and the falling of snow,
The perfection in eddies of wind as it blows,
You could see it to if you only just try,
If ever a glisten of snow caught your eye,
The world is alive and it's full of reactions,
It only takes time and a small bit of action,

Fascinated facets with faces so clear
For the fact is I'm waiting while we're held so dear
When money's an issue I'll let go of games
For importance in virtue will supress the flames
A book can take over when you're in a bind
With the visions of future and past in your mind
A beautiful dance filled with sights even sounds
Within these old pages a world can be found
Could there be a dream without calling out there
For if so would it be to buy bottles with care
There is no delusion here upon a belief
For I carry these words like the wind holds a leaf
