Fallen angels taking up swords, told to freeze

A lack of understanding, missing pieces far outclass this

Whether needed for warmth or to keep from the cold
I had no idea that could ever be kept
From the ones with whom each night she slept
There's more to this than any know
You yourself, wouldn't likely let go

I won't try to make you believe, only tell you this
What you may deny can never be dismissed
A fear that kept these thoughts within
All this time, forced back to the sin
Where that beginning ends, this light emerges
Now, my cold and dead heart surges

My character mistaken with it's time

Perhaps my looks have told you things
I'm not a player
Or word of mouth what gave you thoughts
Upon a prayer

I've not much life within me in that way
Experience
Nor do I want it as my past
Delirious

Awakened has the world and now,
It's the dawn of a new age,
I'll write my moments as they pass,
Some setting still and bold,
For all the things you'd think to wish,
To me are never sold,
I accepted nothing once before,
I fear what others lust for
