My only request is that you listen near
I must actually never make a settlement here
My goal is simple yet such a dream
But life will hold nothing if kept in this stream
I know you hold conference and state your own lies
Thinking you'll handle it while I slowly die
These things you think metaphors, while many are
Why would one as such be placed as a bar
Only because you cannot see mistakes
Does not give permission for more you should make

I don't want to know any more what has come
Once a moment has passed that moment is done
There is no more learning and no way to know
What you think is a gift is just letting me go
To want for what's needed but never was had
For the life I was leading was broken and sad
I love all the world with it's magical tales
The stories of hearts and the ones of betrayal
Defiantly wasted is each passing day
While wanting for something and still parting ways
I love you all dearly as clearly you too
Love my life and allowed me to glimpse it anew
For now I will still be a broken reminder
Of days we once had and the smiles much kinder
I too now must fight for the future to glow
I'll hold up my head and I'll smile to show
And so I will leave you with this simple tell
