Clearly at a loss for words
As though to prove what you have heard
The spoken vowels of denial
By those who hold us all on trial

Written by the ones before
To paint the image of a door
That we could walk through any time
Unquestioning this life's design

That's never been for me to hide from
Knowing when my life had begun
Knowing who had chosen antics
Witnessing them being frantic

Active, hollow and perterbed
Will ever they do as deserved
Secret actions meant for hiding
Blame within a handshakes tiding

Killing off the trust once had
They've done away with good for bad
Content they've managed to keep hidden
Perhaps it's I who's being ridden

Wanting not for any gift
Within this land that time does shift
I'll raise my hand and pass myself
For all is here without the stealth

What's capable of fidning darkness
Cannot be lost without the losses
Unwiling to believe the truth
The dangers in protecting youth

You'll kill us all with your protecting
Your blind eye turned to our deflecting
So many years so much perfecting
Found nothing but your eyes inspecting

Facts be spoken to the wind
You'll scoff at them with much chagrin
Speak many lies to men to win
Believing you because of sin

Leave this part out and mention that
I'll play my part and wear my hat
They'll never know just where I've sat
As quiet as a prowling cat

Never to be is this dirt
For those around me wish to hurt
I'll lose for leaving die for landing
Live for loving as demanding

Loss is what I choose
For then is what I lose
Wish not want not
Forget what you'd not known and forgot

This life I've held for you
Be believed or not it's true
I've kept my arms from reaching out
