My personal goal is to have 2 24" tube lights by spring and also follow that up with ordering about a dozen 6000-8000mah NP batteries and a decent charger. SmallRig sells a 4-pack charger and battery combo... at just under $200 so I think I'm wired for now.
NP batteries bring portable power to PL60 lights and GVM tube lights.
I can run SD series GVM lights with my EcoFlow... so, technically it's all easily portable within half a year but I'm also passionately determined to have a devoted photo kit for rallies, car shows, racing events and my father's Kennonball event in August.
Really would have been nice to jumpstart this in the 2010s instead of caving into musical instruments at the behest of alternative minds. Could have shot amateur crowd roll for my sister's wedding, done some work for other family weddings and friends... shot the parade of Vipers pulling the Plymouth or gone to plenty of conventions and festivals with friends and family... fulfilling a purpose and enhancing my self-esteem.
Ah, well... such is life. Onward...
