seeyatSomething I firmly believe is that in order to flourish as a fully integrated and capable artist, one must fully embrace and seek to understand their most basic, often visceral desires. This is something I hold somewhat at odds with being straightedge. However, if those substances didn't exist, our creative minds would have plenty of inspiration to draw on.
This is one of my reasons for prioritizing comprehension of the sexual self and conscious integration of that part of me. Now, the caveat for me is my unusually vast knowledge of polyvagal theory and the impact of stress and traumatic integration with our nervous systems. This means even other so-called 'sexually liberated' individuals tend to be more fluid and flexible outside of my consciously defined parameters.
