This antiquated land I hold in my hand
Where I am unwilling to stand

Leaving family and friends where they stay
I will devour the new horizons with each sense within me
As each step I take homeward is another to begin me

It's core is healthy, dust is rotten
Where I've walked this long, forgotten
Long ago let go of mem'ries
Friends so gentle, love before thee
Better lost to time this hope here
Trust what's known is not to you dear

I will make my way to oceans
Radiant joy from hearts that open
Determined grit and depth that's daunting
Still much better than this haunting
Clear and present in the moment
I'm holding onto passion dormant

You've not seen the will to soar
For there are many bolted doors
Unwilling to step into knowing
All your steps kept light from growing
We're afraid to leave it showing
Passion spent, as blood is flowing

Underwent your tortured leading
Belief I never saw the bleeding
I see you now have been misleeding
All you'd leave alone believing
This was more than just deceiving
Manipulated hearts are leaving
As if I had been more than breathing

Mind and body, heart and soul
Integration is your goal
While my passions know their role
